Marco (Marc) Ayala is an ISA Fellow and Director, Technical at ABS Consulting's Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE), where he leads efforts to secure critical infrastructure in the global energy sector. With over three decades of experience in instrumentation, automation, controls, and safety systems, he specializes in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity across oil & gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), chemicals, maritime, ports, terminals, and offshore facilities. As InfraGard National Sector Chief - Energy and President of InfraGard Houston Members Alliance (a key FBI partnership program), he drives collaboration to protect the 16 critical infrastructure sectors. An established ISA/IEC 62443 certified course instructor and active contributor to ISA initiatives, Marco delivers training and develops strategies that enhance resilience, align with national security priorities, and address evolving cyber threats in industrial environments.
