2019 Speakers

David J. Collin (Dave) is a construction manager with experience in constructability reviews, planning, estimating, and executing construction projects. Mr. Collin has executed projects, both capital and op-ex, in greenfield and brownfield environments up to $350MM value. Prior to focusing on construction, Mr. Collin used the engineering design change management process in conjunction with process operations, inspections and financial controls in both live and shutdown situations to execute turnarounds. Dave’s current role is with Pembina in the Gas Business Unit (GBU) managing construction on two major projects. Dave graduated top of his class from SAIT’s Chemical Engineering Technology program in 88’. He spent the next 12 years working in commercial, lumber/pulp/paper, and oilfield industries from a contractor perspective before switching sides and becoming an owner’s representative.
