2019 Speakers

Richard is a business executive with a long track record of building innovative products and businesses.  He has experience in a wide variety of roles including business development, product management and engineering.   He's also spent several years in venture capital, including a stint as CEO of a venture-backed software company.  He is a Professional Engineer and holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.  He volunteers as a mentor with APEGA and Futurpreneur.ca. He is currently working with SAIT's School of Business, helping them build and deliver their Innovation and New Ventures Program.   The School of Business delivers cutting-edge programs that inspire learners and leaders to take action and get results. It offers full time, part time, and online programs that blend the theoretical components of business with the practical skills required to be successful in a job. The school focuses on preparing students for their careers.
