Ahmed Hanafy

Ahmed is an Electrical & Control Systems SME and Project Manager with 26 years practice in industry. Ahmed holds a P. Eng. designation for engineering practice in 4 provinces: Alberta, BC, SK and Ontario. He had completed his master degree of engineering (M.Eng.) from the University of Waterloo. Ahmed had been exposed to a wide variety of oil and gas facilities with experience in instrumentation, automation and familiarity of most types of PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems. Design and specifications of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Experience in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), inverters, specifications and design of UPS systems, MCC’s, and electrical power distribution. Ahmed has managed medium and large size multidiscipline projects for all project stages: Conceptual design, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Testing, Commissioning and Start-up.
