Ashif Samnani

Ashif Samnani is a distinguished cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience spanning Cybersecurity Operations, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity. He serves as Cyber Security Principal leading the national Cybersecurity Practice at  MOBIA Technology Innovations, where he helps critical infrastructure operators align business objectives with effective, measurable risk reduction in complex environments.

Ashif’s career includes building and leading high-performing cyber teams in the energy sector a focus on ICS/SCADA security, and resilience for large industrial operations. He is recognized for advancing OT cyber maturity through pragmatic architectures, secure-by-design engineering practices, and collaborative engagement between IT, OT, and executive leadership.

As co-lead of the OT Cyber Security Track at the ISA Security Conference, Ashif brings a practitioner’s lens to program design—shaping sessions that address real-world threats, regulatory pressures, and the realities of brownfield industrial environments. He is a frequent speaker, panel moderator, and mentor, known for making complex OT security challenges accessible to executives, engineers, and security practitioners alike.
