Thank you for participating in the 2026 ISA Calgary Conference, taking place June 9–11, 2026, at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park in Calgary.
Below you’ll find important information to help you prepare for your participation:
- If you are delivering a technical presentation, please review Items 1, 2, and 4 below.
- If you are participating in a panel discussion, roundtable, or fireside chat, please review Items 1 and 2 below.
We appreciate your involvement and look forward to welcoming you to Calgary this June.
1. Speaker Registration
Please note that the conference organizer does not provide per diem, honoraria, or cover travel or accommodation expenses for technical conference speakers.
All speakers will be registered for the ISA Calgary Conference on their behalf.
The speaker pass includes access to:
- The Opening Plenary (Day 1)
- Meet the Experts (End of Day 2)
- All three days of conference programming
- The exhibition floor
2. Speaker Terms and Conditions Form
Deadline: May 29, 2026
All presenters are required to sign and submit the Speaker Terms and Conditions (T&C) Form before their presentation.
This form grants permission for:
- Distribution of an approved public version of your PowerPoint presentation or paper to the online digital library following the conference
- Use of photos taken of you at the event for future marketing materials
The T&C form will be sent to you digitally by email.
3. Visa Invitation Letters
If you require a visa invitation letter to apply for entry into Canada, you may select the Visa Invitation Letter option during registration.
This automated process will prompt you to provide the required information. Once completed, the invitation letter will be automatically emailed to you.
4. Final PowerPoint Presentation (Required)
Deadline: May 15, 2026
All technical presenters must submit a final version of their PowerPoint presentation by the deadline.
Please ensure your presentation complies with the ISA Intellectual Property Policy, available here: https://www.isa.org/about-isa/governing-documents/intellectual-property-policy
If your material contains content derived from an ISA standard or other ISA documents, please send your presentation to: permissions@isa.org
ISA has standardized presentation materials available for select standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, SCADA112, ISA‑18.2, ISA‑5.1) should these be required.

Presentation Submission Requirements
Speakers must use the ISA PowerPoint Presenter Template which you can download HERE
Presentations must be submitted to:
- Marty Bince – mebince@gmail.com
- Greg Potter – greg.potter@isacalgary.org
No later than May 15, 2026
The presentation submitted must:
- Use the required template
- Reflect the original abstract that was submitted
If changes are made to your presentation after May 29, 2026, you may bring an updated version with you on a USB stick and update the original file onsite prior to your session.
Presentation Format and Timing
Technical presenters will be assigned one 60‑minute speaking slot on one of the three conference days.
Within the 60‑minute session, it is recommended that:
- 40 minutes be allocated for the presentation
- 10–15 minutes be reserved for audience Q&A
Room hosts will provide a 5‑minute warning prior to the end of the session.
Presentation rooms will be set up in a theatre‑style format and accommodate 30+ attendees.
